Notes that already mean something.
Reviewers pin notes to the frame, draw on the picture or record a voice note. A note on a stretch becomes a marker with a duration.
For DaVinci Resolve
Review notes in Resolve, at their frame.
One file each round: every note becomes a timeline marker, coloured by kind, and done markers come back to tick the notes off.
In short
- post-prod.io sends review notes to DaVinci Resolve as timeline markers: export an EDL, then import it with Timeline Markers from EDL.
- It isn't a live panel inside Resolve. It's one file per round, and done markers come back the same way.
- Resolve and Resolve Studio both import markers from an EDL, so there's nothing to install.

Suggested edits
Red markers are edits you can play first.
When a reviewer suggests a cut, zoom or blur, you can play it on the cut in post-prod.io before you make it in Resolve. Those notes come in red, so you can tell them apart.
How
Into Resolve in
three steps.
- 1On post-prod.io, Export > DaVinci Resolve (EDL), with the timecode your timeline starts at (usually 01:00:00:00).
- 2In Resolve's Media Pool, right-click the timeline > Timelines > Import > Timeline Markers from EDL, and pick the file.
- 3Turn markers green when they're dealt with, export them as an EDL and use Import done markers on post-prod.io to tick the notes off.

Questions
Does post-prod.io work with DaVinci Resolve Studio and Resolve?
Yes. Importing and exporting timeline markers as an EDL is part of Resolve itself, in both editions, so there's nothing to install.
Is there a panel inside Resolve?
No. Notes go in as an EDL of timeline markers, one file each round. Done markers come back the same way.
Does Frame.io work with DaVinci Resolve?
The Frame.io pages we read in October 2026 describe its Premiere Pro integration. Check frame.io for its current Resolve support.
What about Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro?
Final Cut Pro gets an FCPXML of markers, Premiere Pro gets an XML or our panel, and Avid gets marker files.
Can I try post-prod.io before paying?
There's a sample video you can open and review the way a guest would, with notes on the frame, drawing and a suggested edit. Plans are $10 an admin a month.
