It reads the notes on the frame.
Claude sees every note with its frame number and timecode, the frame itself as a picture, and what's said as timed lines. Paste any post-prod.io link and it opens what the link points at.
Agentic video editing
An AI agent that reads the feedback, looks at the frames, makes the changes and hands the next version back for people to check. What that means, and how it works in post-prod.io with Claude.

Claude sees every note with its frame number and timecode, the frame itself as a picture, and what's said as timed lines. Paste any post-prod.io link and it opens what the link points at.
Cuts, zooms, blurs, speed, sound, colour, text fixes and captions, on exact frames, each tied to the note it answers. They show in the review as Claude's suggestions until someone on your team accepts them, and Claude can look at a frame with its edits drawn on before anything renders.
Claude can render the cut with the accepted edits from the original, as the next version of the same file. In Claude Code it can also make a video from code on your computer, such as motion graphics, and upload it as the next version, with notes on what changed and the project files beside it.
Share the version and Claude waits for reviewers. When a new note or reply lands, it reads it on the frame, replies, makes the change and uploads again. The fix check runs on every version, so you can see what it fixed.
The idea
Most AI video features do one fixed thing the same way every time: remove silences, add captions, reframe for vertical. An agent is given a goal, like “make the changes in these notes”, and works out the steps: which frames to look at, which edit to use, and how to check its own work.
Agentic editing works on footage you already have, with editing tools, so every change can be seen, checked and undone. That's different from generating new video from a prompt.
A brief for an agent has to say what to change and where. Notes pinned to frames already do that: each one is a place in the cut, a change and a reason. That's why post-prod.io starts the agent from the review, not from a blank prompt.
An agent is good at clear, specific changes: trims, zooms, blurs, captions, speed and level changes, text fixes. Taste calls (is this the right story, does this joke land) still need a person, and so does the final approval. Treat the agent's version like any editor's: watch it and check the fixes.

No. Generation makes new footage from a prompt. Agentic editing changes a cut you already have, with editing tools, so each change can be played, checked and undone.
Claude runs on your own Claude account, in claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code, so Claude's side of the work is on your Claude plan. post-prod.io gives it the tools: your notes, frames, transcripts, edits, renders and uploads. ChatGPT is coming soon.
Not unless you let it. Claude's edits wait as suggestions for someone on your team to accept. An owner or admin can turn on Let Claude make edits without asking, in Workspace settings. Either way, every change makes a new version: nothing is overwritten, and Claude never deletes anything.
Claude edits with post-prod.io's own edit tools and renders from the original. If you'd rather make the changes in your editing app, the notes go to Premiere Pro as markers through our panel, and to Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Avid as marker files.
The connection is part of every paid plan: Creator, Creator+ and Agency. Claude's own usage is on your Claude plan. Renders use your team's daily renders, and transcripts and fix checks use your workspace's monthly AI allowance.
